Hundreds of pro-Palestinian human rights activists from the Jewish community in New York protested in front of the house of the democratic majority leader in the US Senate, Chuck Schumer, calling for the immediate termination of military funding to Israel.
The protesters raised banners condemning the constant American support for Israel under its continuing military operations against the Palestinians; manifested in direct aggression of the army and repeated attacks of the colonial settlers.
In a related context, the protesters stressed on the rejection of Netenyahu’s government, after Schumer’s promise to support Israel during a visit to it, despite the internal opposition that his government faces. Not only this, but the enraged international reactions to the illegal settlement expansion, amidst the escalation of violence and assaults against Palestinians.
