According to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, three prisoners face serious health conditions in Al-Ramla Prison Hospital.

According to the commission's attorney, Fawaz Shaloudi, the prisoner, Asef Refa'i, has cancer that is rapidly spreading across various regions of his body. This is why his health is so critical. The 23-year-old prisoner Kamal Joury needs daily follow-up since he has nerve damage in his pelvic region as a result of an injury he got while being detained. Omar Abed, 31, has fractures in both of his legs as a result of being shot by the IOF, beaten up, and fell down from highest as the IOF was attempting to arrest him. Omar now walks using a wheelchair.

The commission stressed that the Israeli prisons' administration intentionally ignores the patient prisoners and procrastinates providing them with the needed treatment. Prison clinics as well lacked the minimum health services, needed treatment, and medical specialists. Rather, it provides only "Acamol" as the only treatment for any disease.
