Introduction

Over the course of three days (from March 30 to April 1), Israel bombed the Syrian lands with a number of warplane raids, that targeted the Syrian army's positions, and other bases and positions for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Hezbollah. Subsequently, dozens of Iranians and Syrians were killed, including the officers, Milad Heydari and Miqdad Muhaqani, who were professionals in precision missiles. These latest attacks came after tens of others that Israel has launched on Syria over the past few years. The majority of those airstrikes aimed to either turn the conventional missile arsenal into a precision missile arsenal, or reduce or eliminate the threat posed by Iran and Hezbollah's efforts to develop precision surface-to-surface missiles. The Israeli army considered the danger of the precision missiles a strategic threat to Israel. In this brief, we will try to identify this threat, its origin, and its impact on the happenings of any future conflict between Iran, Israel, Hezbollah, and Syria.
