The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) turned the courtyards of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa into barracks, to pave the way for colonial settlers to storm the courtyards of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa on the fourth day of the Israeli Passover holiday.
IOF set military checkpoints inside the Old City fence, and evacuated the streets to pave the way for the colonial settlers’ storming. They also prevented the young men from entering Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa. Furthermore, Israeli Border Guard assaulted the young men at the doors of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa and prevented them from entering it.
The Awqaf department stated that 450 colonial settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa in groups from Bab Al-Mughrabi. They also performed provocative rounds and Talmudic rituals, guarded by the Israeli police.
