Israeli colonial settlers, headed by the occupation government's Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich, and Knesset members from the extreme right, broke into the site of the evicted “Homesh” settlement in Jenin.

Sources: Under the guardianship of Israeli occupation forces, the settlers performed Talmudic prayers at the settlement site and pelted Palestinian civilians' vehicles with stones.

The storming of the “Homesh” settlement site comes about a month after the Israeli occupation Knesset approved a draft law allowing settlers to return to four occupied Palestinian territories settlements that were disintegrated in 2005. This serves the purpose of legalizing random outposts in the northern occupied West Bank.
