The Warda family in Gaza confirmed the death of their son, Amin Warda, 59, five days after he went missing under unknown circumstances while working in the occupied Palestinian territory.

"My father's phone was found smashed, in the Kiryat Malakhi area in southern occupied Palestine, and it is the same place where he was assaulted," Abdul Qadir, the martyred Amin Warda's son, stated. He also blamed the occupation government and Israeli colonial settlers for this crime which led to his father's martyrdom.

Martyr Warda's death brings the total number of Palestinian martyrs working in the occupied Palestinian territory to seven, three of whom have perished since the beginning of 2023. Noteworthy, calls are being renewed for an international fact-finding committee to investigate the occupation's abuses against Palestinian laborers.
