Private sources: Israeli occupation soldiers invaded the cell of prisoner Mahmoud Al-Ardah, in Ashkelon prison, the leader of Operation "Freedom Tunnel," which was conducted in Gilboa Prison.

According to sources inside the occupation jails, "the units that stormed his cell wreaked havoc on it, and confiscated all his possessions, private papers, and writings." According to the same sources, Mohammad Al-Ardah, a prisoner who took part in Operation "Freedom Tunnel", is subjected to extremely harsh treatment in his solitary confinement. Moreover, all of his papers and pens were confiscated in Raymond prison, where he is forbidden family visits, to prevent him from penning any letters, and his cell is searched practically daily.

It should be noted that the two prisoners, Mahmoud and Mohammad Al-Ardah, are the leaders of Operation "Freedom Tunnel", following which six Palestinian prisoners were able to escape from Gilboa prison and were re-arrested.
