The hunger-striking prisoner, Khader Adnan, 44, was martyred in the Israeli occupation jails after 86 days of an open-ended hunger strike.
Yedioth Ahronoth claims that the prisoner, Khader Adnan, was found unconscious in his cell and declared a martyr after being taken to a hospital. Khader Adnan's martyrdom brings the total number of martyrs for the prisoners' movement to 237.
The Islamic Jihad Movement has previously held the Israeli occupation accountable for the life of prisoner Adnan, after refusing to release him.
As it was mentioned, the last open-ended hunger strike which eventually led to the martyrdom of prisoner Khader Adnan, was the longest among his detention years, during which he underwent 5 strikes.
Adnan was detained 12 times, and spent 8 years in the Israeli hails, the most of which were for administrative detention. Noteworthy, he is a father to 9 children.
