After the martyrdom of Khader Adnan in his cell, the Israeli occupation prisons witnessed a wave of tension. In Ofer prison, one of the Palestinian prisoners confronted a jailer, and thus the Israeli prisons’ administration fired tear gas canisters at the prisoners.

Waed Captive and Liberators Society stated that: “Takbeerat of the Palestinian prisoners have sounded in the Israeli jails after they were informed of Khader Adnan’s martyrdom. Furthermore, the Prisoners Movement has declared public mourning in all prisons, after the martyrdom of Khader Adnan, who had been on an open-ended hunger strike for 86 days. 

According to the Palestinian Prisoners Club, there is a state of alert in Ofer prison, after a prisoner confronted an Israeli jailer following the martyrdom of Khader Adnan. As a result, the Israeli prisons’ administration fired tear gas canisters, resulting in breathing problems for a number of the prisoners.
