A civilian was martyred and another was injured as a result of an Israeli shelling in the eastern part of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, this morning.

Sources reported that a martyr was transferred and there was a serious injury due to the Israeli targeting of a group of civilians in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis.

The Israeli army radio stated that the Israeli occupation targeted a Palestinian group affiliated with the Islamic Jihad.
