As the sounds of explosions subsided and the Israeli warplanes departed the Strip's sky, the ceasefire between the Israeli occupation and the Palestinian resistance took effect in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Islamic Jihad Movement, the ceasefire agreement calls for the stopping of the targeting of civilians, the bombing of homes, and the targeting of resistance leaders. On the other hand, it assured that it would stick to the agreement as long as the Israeli occupation did so.
It was also reported by the Egyptian Committee in Gaza that "the Palestinian-Israeli agreement to a cease-fire mediated by Egypt officially entered into force two hours ago."
33 people were ultimately killed, including 6 children and 3 women, while 147 were injured. This is the last update on the Israeli onslaught's consequences.
Furthermore, the five-day Israeli aggression on Gaza, had resulted in the destruction of dozens of residential units, economic facilities, and agricultural lands, along with the displacement of hundreds of unarmed civilians from their houses.
