At a military checkpoint southwest of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, the young man, Ahmed Atatreh, 33, was martyred following injuries he sustained by occupation bullets. 
 
Atatreh was shot by occupation forces as he passed the checkpoint, severely injuring him, obstructing the arrival of ambulances, and leaving him bleeding on the ground until he was proclaimed a martyr.
With the martyrdom of the young Atatreh, there have already been 151 martyrs since the start of this year in the West Bank, including 33 as a result of the ongoing Israeli offensive against Gaza that began last Tuesday
