The settlers are celebrating the Hebrew holiday of "Shavuot" or "Matan Torah" on Friday, May 26, 2023. It is expected that there will be widespread collective incursions into Al-Aqsa on the upcoming Thursday.

The Zionist “Temple” organizations focus in this holiday on enhancing the performance of “Epic prostration” in the al-Masjid Al-Aqsa courtyards. They will also perform public collective Taldmuic rites, offer plan-based sacrifices and drink wine at Bab Al-Maghariba.

Hassan Khater, Head of Al-Quds International Centre, said that the Israeli occupation government tries to create any clear breach and strategic change in Al-Aqsa to prove that Ben Gvir’s term is different from predecessors. He stressed that such actions are serious and affect Al-Aqsa, and require ribat from Al-Aqsa guards and murabitun to confront and fail them.
