Three Prisoners Suffer Harsh Health Condition in Al-Ramon Prison

Three sick instances of detainees lingered in "Ramon" prison, according to the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, cited by the Commission's attorney, Shireen Nasser.

 

"The prisoner Walid Masalmeh, 49, who faces willful medical negligence and procrastination in providing treatment by the prison administration, as it suffices to give him painkillers only," the commission reported. Masalmeh was sentenced to life in prison. He has had kidney stones for three years and had surgery, but it was later determined that the stone still existed. He still feels pain in that area as well as in the left leg muscle.

 

The prisoner Ahmed Salah, 52, who was given a sentence of 21 sentences to life and ten years in prison, has pulmonary fibrosis. He also complains of colon inflammation and thehe prison administration refuses to perform medical examinations for him. Moreover, the prisoner Sami Jaradat, 55, who was given 21 sentences to life and 50 years in prison, complains of many problems in urinary tract. Also, despite the need for a surgery, the prison administration refuses to take him to hospital.
