The two Palestinian prisoners Ahmed Al-Salyma and Kayed Al-Fasoos continue to undergo an open-ended hunger strike for the 8th consecutive day, rejecting their administrative detention.
Commission of Detainee Affairs: The two prisoners continue their open-ended hunger strike as they reject the administrative detention issued to them. It also mentioned that they are held in Ofer prison.
According to the commission, the Al-Fassos prisoner, 34, was transferred to administrative detention for six months. Notably, Al-Fasoos was a former administrative prisoner, who spent about 7 years in the Israeli occupation prisons, and went through a 131-day open-ended hunger strike. He is also the brother of three prisoners who are still languishing in Israeli jails.
On the other hand, prisoner Ahmed Ibrahim Masalma, 25, received an administrative detention sentence of 4 months, and he was a released prisoner who spent years in Israeli prisons.
