New Settlement Scheme Disintegrates West Bank into Two Halves

The most sensitive plans for settlement construction in the West Bank, particularly in the E1 area that will connect Al-Quds with the Ma'ale Adumim settlement, will be discussed at a meeting of the Israeli Civil Administration's Central Planning Committee on Monday.

According to the Israeli "Walla" website, the meeting will take place despite being repeatedly postponed due to pressure imposed from other nations, particularly the United States and European nations. This plan is thought to be the most politically sensitive and will divide the West Bank into two halves. It also aims to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state with territorial continuity in the future.

The Israeli "Peace Now" movement also emphasized that the construction in "E1" is a step in the actions taken by the current Israeli government, which has been establishing new settlements since its inception, relocating settlers to the northern West Bank, and is now working to establish the conditions for annexing the West Bank.
