According to PM Benjamin Netanyahu, normalization with the Israeli occupation will represent a turning point as it is the most influential in the Arab world. “The West Bank is the land of Israel, and settlement will stop in it,” he said. 

In his talk with Sky News, he mentioned that “our hand is extended to all Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, which is of great importance. I believe it is possible to end the Israeli-Arab conflict.” 

In January 2023, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan stated that "the agreement on the establishment of a Palestinian state would be a prerequisite for Saudi Arabia to establish official diplomatic relations with Israel."

On the other hand, Netanyahu described the West Bank as "Israel's land" and stated that "settlement in it does not represent a violation of international law."
