The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) repressed the Palestinian prisoners in the Negev prison and transferred a number of them to cells. 

According to the Asra Media Office, the repressive units stormed Sector 21 in the Negev prison and transferred a number of prisoners to cells. It was also reported that there was a tense state that overwhelmed the prison. 

This comes in coincidence with the public alarm that overwhelmed all Israeli prisons, where the Palestinian administrative detainees are preparing for an open-ended hunger strike.

The committee of administrative detainees mentioned that there are hundreds of administrative detainees in Israeli prisons that will start an open-ended hunger strike on Sunday, June 18, 2023, under the slogan "Freedom Revolution: Administrative Detainees Intifada".
