A military order was issued by the Israeli occupation troops to crack down on Bedouins residing in the occupied West Bank north of Jericho.

According to local sources, the occupation forces have issued a military order that includes restricting access to a land area of 250 dunums that is home to about 25 families from the tent-dwelling Bedouin community of Abu Al-Ajaj as part of their settlement strategy to evict the Bedouin and expand settlement.

While the Israeli military decision calls for the region's closure and the ban on staying there, it also permits the Bedouin residents who have lived there permanently to do so as long as no new structures are added to their agricultural residential area.
