In light of the prison administration's ongoing policy of deliberate medical negligence, which is intended to torture and slowly kill prisoners, the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs reported that the two prisoners, Nidal Meshaal and Moez Hussein, suffer from health conditions that need medical follow-up and treatment.

After visiting Jalboa' prison, the commission's attorney, Sherine Iraqi, confirmed that the prisoner Nidal Meshaal had been suffering since 2019 from enlarged neck arteries that developed right after he was given a dental anesthetic injection. At the time, the prison clinic denied this, and it was noted that this was the prisoner's fourth arrest, given a 20-month sentence.

The prisoner, Moez Hussein, 24, was diagnosed by speaking to a doctor on the phone, and he was given medication without the doctor actually seeing him, which caused irritation of the spots and a concussion of the nerves, according to the commission. He has been suffering from severe skin irritation for six years. He stopped taking it, and he asks to be taken as soon as possible to a dermatologist.
