Today marks the Zionist crime of burning Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa in 1969, on its 54th anniversary.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque was intentionally set on fire by the Australian Jew "Michael Dennis," which consumed significant portions of it. This crime caused the burning of the pulpit of Salah Al-Din Al-Ayyubi, which is considered a symbol of liberation and victory over the Crusaders.
More than 1,500 square meters of the mosque's original 4,400 square meters were burned, making up more than a third of its total area. The fire also significantly damaged the mosque's structure, including its columns, arches, and old decorations. In addition, the roof of the mosque collapsed as a result of the fire, and two columns also fell. 48 windows were broken, two heads with the arch supporting the dome, carpets, numerous embellishments, and Quranic verses were burned as well.
