More than 5,000 Palestinian citizens have been detained by Israeli occupation troops since the start of this year, including 678 children and 83 women. The total number of administrative detention orders issued since the start of the year is 2,350, including 1,245 brand-new orders and 1,105 renewal orders.
The Palestinian Prisoner's Club emphasized that the occupying forces continued to commit crimes and violations against prisoners and their families, as well as attacks of all kinds using all types of weapons, and increased their targeting of martyrs' and prisoners' families through the crime of collective punishment.
The occupation is still committing the crime of field executions and shooting prisoners and their families. This reflects the rise in the number of martyrs and wounded, both before and during incarceration, as well as the damage to detainees’ and their families’ houses.
