The first incursions by illegal settlers into Al-Aqsa and the Old City took place during the Jewish holiday season, when they performed Talmudic and Biblical rituals as part of their religious campaign against the mosque and the holy city.

In an effort to "Judaize" the Al-Aqsa Mosque, impose a new reality on it, and divide it in time and space, temple groups use Jewish holidays to practice their Talmudic and Biblical rituals there, most notably their prayers and fasting, sacrifices, blowing trumpets, etc.

The settlers' incursions will start next Sunday with the celebration of the so-called "Hebrew New Year's Day," which lasts for two days, by organizing significant incursions into Al-Aqsa and the Old City, during which the settlers intend to blow the trumpet in the mosque and its vicinity, followed by what is known as the biblical "Yom Kippur" on September 25, and then what is known as "Sukkot" on September 30 and lasts until October 17.
