The prisoner Kayed Al-Fasfous, 34, who has been on a hunger strike for 59 consecutive days in protest against his administrative detention, is facing serious health conditions. On the contrary, the Israeli occupation continues to refuse to respond to his demands.

The Prisoners' Club stated that the Israeli prison administration transferred prisoner Al-Fasfous from the cells of "Ashkelon" prison to the clinic of "Al-Ramla" prison clinic after he suffered from difficult health conditions, posing a threat to his life. They added that his transfer sends a message that the occupation is continuing its systematic retaliation against him.

The Israeli forces had re-arrested Al-Fasfous on 2/5/2023, placing him in administrative detention. He is a former prisoner who had spent nearly 7 years in Israeli prisons, and he has three other siblings who are also held in administrative detention by the occupation.
