A child was injured by live ammunition, and dozens of citizens suffered from tear gas inhalation in an attack by Israeli forces on the villagers of Burqa, northwest of Nablus.

Ahmed Jibril, the director of ambulance and emergency services at the Palestinian Red Crescent in Nablus, said that a 15-year-old child was shot with live ammunition by the Israeli occupation forces in the village of Burqa and was subsequently transported to the hospital.

On his part, the head of the Burqa village council, Ziad Abu Omar, reported that Israeli forces closed all three western entrances to the village with earth mounds and cement blocks. They also fired tear gas canisters towards the homes of the citizens, leading to the suffocation of dozens of people.
