On the fourth day of the Jewish "Sukkot" holiday, hundreds of illegal Israeli settlers, guarded by the Israeli police, stormed the Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa from the Bab Al-Maghariba side this morning. This happened amid tight security measures in the Old Town and bans on Palestinians visiting the mosque courtyards.
The occupation police stationed their members in the Al-Aqsa courtyards and vicinity, as well as in the Old City, to pave the way for settlers to storm these areas. These settlers conducted provocative rounds, heard explanations of the purported "temple," performed Talmudic rituals in Al-Aqsa courtyards, and staged a provocative march at the Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa’s Cotton Merchants' Gate.
