The Hamas movement has delivered its response to the mediators' proposal to resume negotiations on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

Hamas stated that it has agreed to release Israeli soldier Aidan Alexander, who holds American citizenship, in addition to the remains of four others with dual nationality.

The movement also affirmed its full readiness to begin negotiations and reach a comprehensive agreement on the issues of the second phase, calling for the occupation to be obligated to fully implement its commitments.
