The Ministry of Education issued a statement on Palestinian Children's Day, which falls on April 5th every year, highlighting that education in Palestine, especially in Gaza, is directly targeted by the occupation. The occupation continues to destroy schools and obstruct children's access to a safe educational environment.

The Ministry confirmed that more than 17,000 children have been martyred in Gaza, a number that reflects the depth of the tragedy faced by children. Despite this, children continue their educational journey through virtual schools.

The Ministry emphasized the need to unite efforts to support children in Gaza and across Palestine, and to work on strengthening education as a fundamental right, despite all the challenges faced.
