The website "Drop Site" revealed that Meta, the parent company of Facebook, complied with requests made by the Israeli government to delete over 90,000 posts in an effort to suppress the Palestinian narrative on social media since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza.

According to the site, which specializes in political and war affairs, Meta responded to 94% of removal requests submitted by Tel Aviv since October 7, 2023. These actions targeted users from Arab and Muslim-majority countries.

Reports from specialized monitoring centers show millions of inciting and hateful posts in Hebrew, while at the same time, Meta has imposed strict censorship on Palestinian content, removing, suppressing, and limiting access to accounts that support Palestine.
