Mike Pompeo, US Secretary of State, is going to visit a wine factory in Psagot near Ramallah next week during his visit to the occupation’s entity. This is an unprecedented visit by a US Secretary. According to sources in the US Embassy, the preparations are taking place between the American Secret Service and the Shabak to ensure the success of the visit. Pompeo already said in 2019 that his country no longer perceived the settlements established on Palestinian soil as illegal nor contradictory to the international law. Pompeo’s visit will cover US-ally states: France, Turkey, Georgia, the occupation’s entity, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar in order to discuss Trump’s ‘efforts’ to achieve ‘peace and cooperation in the Middle East’.
