For the 44th consecutive day since the resumption of its war on March 18, the Israeli occupation army continues its assault on the Gaza Strip, claiming dozens of lives and wounding many more each day, amid a suffocating siege that has triggered an unprecedented humanitarian crisis in the territory.

According to the latest figures released by the Gaza Ministry of Health, 2,273 Palestinians have been killed and 5,864 injured since the war resumed. The Ministry warned that the healthcare system is on the brink of total collapse due to repeated attacks on hospitals and medical teams.

Since the beginning of the war on October 7, 2023, the total death toll has reached 52,365 martyrs, with 117,905 injured—most of them women and children, including thousands in critical condition.

The Director-General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza stated:
“What is happening is genocide against the Palestinian existence,” adding that the assault has left more than 40,000 children orphaned so far.
