The Palestinian Ministry of Health revealed that 1,500 Palestinians have lost their vision due to the ongoing genocide, while another 4,000 are at risk of going blind.

Dr. Abdul Salam Sabah, Director of the Eye Hospital in Gaza, stated that the healthcare sector is suffering from a severe shortage of medical supplies and equipment needed for eye surgeries, risking the near-total collapse of surgical services.

He warned that many eye injuries caused by explosions require medical materials that are nearly depleted, and unless immediate international intervention occurs, the hospital will no longer be able to provide surgical services.
