The Civil Defense has reported that over 50 members of a single family were either killed or went missing in an Israeli airstrike targeting a home in Jabalia al-Balad, northern Gaza Strip.
Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal stated that teams have recovered the bodies of 10 martyrs, including 3 children, from the targeted home of the Dardouna family, which was a four-story building. He also confirmed that more than 50 citizens remain missing, with complete inability to reach them due to the lack of necessary technical equipment.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has committed acts of genocide in Gaza, resulting in over 175,000 Palestinians killed or injured, the majority of whom are women and children. In addition, over 11,000 people remain missing, and hundreds of thousands have been displaced.
