At least 30 Palestinians were martyred after Israeli occupation warplanes bombed Fahmi Al-Jarjawi School, which was sheltering displaced people in central Gaza City.
Eyewitnesses reported that a fire broke out in the school following the bombing, leading to the burning deaths of 30 displaced people, including children and women, while civil defense teams are still searching for missing persons under the rubble.
Earlier, four civilians were martyred and others injured in an Israeli strike targeting a house and nearby tents of displaced people in Gaza City.
In a related context, medical sources confirmed that 36 civilians were martyred and dozens injured in ongoing Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling across different areas of the Gaza Strip since early Sunday morning.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has launched a brutal assault on Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom of over 53,939 Palestinians, the majority of whom are children and women.
