Nine children of Palestinian pediatrician Alaa Al-Najjar were martyred after Israeli warplanes bombed her home in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

Dr. Alaa Al-Najjar was on duty at Nasser Medical Hospital when the occupation forces targeted her house with a missile, killing nine of her children — the eldest was 12 years old, and the youngest a baby girl less than a year old. Her son Adam (11) and her husband were critically injured.

Civil defense teams recovered the charred remains of seven children, while the bodies of two more are still trapped under the rubble.

The Israeli occupation continues its genocidal war against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, with the death toll now exceeding 53,000 Palestinians, the majority being women and children.
