The American news outlet CNN reported that since the collapse of the ceasefire in Gaza on March 18, nearly 80% of the Gaza Strip has been classified by Israel as a military zone or subjected to evacuation orders for residents.

According to the report, Israeli forces have systematically destroyed homes, factories, and agricultural lands, almost completely banned fishing, and destroyed most fishing boats.

The report also noted that Israeli forces have imposed a buffer zone approximately one kilometer wide along the length of the Gaza Strip and have completely prohibited Gaza residents from accessing areas at least 2 to 3 kilometers deep.
