Israeli occupation forces prevented residents from performing Friday prayers at the mosque in the village of Nabi Samuel, northwest of occupied Jerusalem.

According to the Jerusalem Governorate, the occupation forces banned the Friday prayer under the pretext of "security conditions."

The village of Nabi Samuel is home to around 350 residents and is besieged by the Israeli separation and expansion wall, along with surrounding settlements that have seized hundreds of dunams of its land.

The village is frequently subjected to assaults by Israeli forces and settlers.
