The Government Media Office in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation army is promoting false claims and publishing misleading maps to forcibly displace the residents of Gaza and the north, creating a new humanitarian crisis.
The statement added that the occupation’s claims of “vast empty areas” in the southern Gaza Strip are false, contradicting field realities, and represent an attempt to mislead international public opinion and cover up the crime of large-scale “forced displacement.”
It further stated that the areas referred to by the occupation, whether in Al-Mawasi or the central camps, are limited lands not equipped to accommodate such a large population. Most of them are farms or private properties, while some are used as buffer zones or are under threat of bombardment. Through this, the occupation aims to fabricate yet another humanitarian crisis.
