Journalist Islam Abed was killed in an Israeli bombardment that targeted Gaza City.

The Government Media Office in Gaza announced that the number of martyred journalists has risen to 247 since the beginning of the Israeli genocide war against the Gaza Strip.

The office called on the international community, international organizations, and bodies concerned with journalism and media worldwide to condemn the crimes of the occupation, hold it accountable in international courts for its ongoing crimes, and bring the perpetrators to justice.
