Taher Al-Nounou, media advisor to the head of Hamas’ political bureau, confirmed that the movement’s leadership has intensified its contacts with regional leaders and officials as part of a broad diplomatic effort to stop the Israeli genocide and to work on increasing humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

Al-Nounou said that Hamas is discussing with several countries ways to address the crimes of the occupation, especially in light of the occupation government’s refusal to deal with the mediators’ proposal, which the movement and the factions had accepted in Cairo about two weeks ago.

He pointed out that the head of Hamas’ leadership council is holding talks with political and party leaders and elites, placing them before their historical responsibilities.
