Dec 07, 2020 11:50 am

Abdullatif Al Zayani, Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs, said in the Manama Dialogue conference that there is military cooperation with the Israeli occupation, and alleged that such move is not in response to any threat nor does it target any country. He said that reinforcing the security of the Gulf and the Middle East would be more effective when the countries work with regional allies and international partners. He also said that there should be more partnerships; moving past the policy of power in the cold war and securing supplies from trusted sources. He stressed that the present should be for security and stability in the Middle East as part of international security. He mentioned the importance of searching for a solution for the Palestinian-Israeli dispute; which can open the door for other issues in the area. He also addressed the importance of offering political, economic, commercial and diplomatic support to ensuring security, peace and prosperity.
