The Israeli economic Globes newspaper reported that PM Benjamin Netanyahu is visiting the UAE early January to take part in the opening of the Israeli embassy in Dubai.

Other attendants are Jared Kushner, Trump’s Senior Advisor and son-in-law; and Avi Berkowitz, US special envoy to the region among other officials.

The newspaper said that Netanyahu had asked his ministers not travel to the UAE in order not to steal the lights of his visit.

He wants to be the first high-profile Israeli official to visit the UAE after the normalization agreement between them.
