Omar Samara, Mayor of Haris village to west of Salfit in the occupied West Bank, said that some settlers uprooted 300 olive trees in the village.

He said that the trees were his property and were planted decades ago. He said that three months ago the occupation notified him of the change that will happen to his land and the uprooting of the planted trees.
