The Israeli occupation government has, for the third day, prevented the Palestinians from carrying out any renovations and maintenance at Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa.
The Administration of Al-Quds’ Awqaf warned against the threats and dangers of not allowing the maintenance work at the arenas of Al-Masjid nor the entry of basic materials required for such work.
An official at the Administration of Al-Quds’ Awqaf said that it was the first time for the occupation to ban any renovation work in Al-Aqsa, and to threaten to arrest any person who takes part in the renovation in an attempt to impose its control on and suffocate the Al-Awqaf Administration.
The occupation’s police is working on preventing the Construction Department at Al-Masjid from carrying out any activities, and the restoration of any significant locations that require immediate work inside.
The police is also preventing the entry of the most basic materials required for the Masjid’s restoration. On the other hand, excavation work by the ‘Israelis’ continues in Al-Buraq arena using heavy excavators.
