The Ambassador Mohammed Al-Emadi, Chairman of Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza, met with Hamas’ leaders; Yahya Sinwar, Rawhi Mushtaha, and Khalil Al-Hayya from the Gaza Strip in the new Committee’s headquarter.

Al-Emadi discussed the current political conditions and developments in the Palestinian arena. He confirmed Qatar’s support for the Palestinian people at all levels. Al-Emadi also announced it would grant the people of the Gaza Strip $360 million for the year 2021.

Yahya Sinwar thanked Qatar for the grant, and other forms of support such as implementing vital projects in all sectors; most importantly in construction, infrastructure, electricity, humanitarian aids and others.
