Hussain Al-Sheikh, member in Fatah Central Committee, said in a press release that he visited Marwan AL-Barghouti, leader in Fatah and prisoner at Hadarim prison.

Al-Sheikh visited Al-Barghouti upon the request of Fatah, and they discussed the latest international and regional political developments, the outcome of the Palestinian national dialogue and the ongoing preparations for holdingd the legislative and presidential elections.

Al-Sheikh said that Al-Barghouti called for a joint list of the Fatah Movement in the upcoming elections. The list should be elected according to criteria and principles that ensure the widest representation of the sectors of the Palestinian people including women, youth, professionals, academics, the economic and social sectors, freedom fighters and former political prisoners.
