Occupation Prevents Covid-19 Vaccination from Entering Gaza

Mai Al-Kaila, Palestinian Minister of Health, said in a statement that the occupation’s government banned the entry of Coronavirus vaccines into Gaza.

She also said that the occupation is held accountable for such an arbitrary measure that goes against norms, laws and international agreements.

Al-Kaila said that 2000 shots of Sputnik V vaccination are supposed to enter the Gaza Strip, and were sent for the medical crews working in the ICU for Covid-19 patients, and the crews working in the emergency departments.

Al-Kaila clarified that the MoH and the government are contacting international organizations to facilitate the entry of vaccines to the Strip as soon as possible.
