Axios website reported that 17 democrat senators signed a letter sent to the Department of State asking him to exercise pressure on the Israeli occupation to allow the entry of necessary aids and materials for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.

The senators urged for using the American funds in offering humanitarian aids to Gaza the way they used to be before former President Trump's term. They also asked for assigning an ambassador to the entity, a consul in Al-Quds, and a head for the USAID.
