A Palestinian source told Sawa local agency that 20 Qatari fuel trucks entered Gaza through Karam Abu Salem crossing in south-east the Gaza Strip after the occupation had informed the Qatari Committee to resume supplying the power plant.

The UN welcomed such step and Tor Wennesland, UN Special Coordinator, said in a press release that the resumption of fuel supplies was part of an agreement between UNOPS and Qatar, and confirmed that more work will be done with all parties to ensure the continuity of the ceasefire and aid of Gaza residents.
