The Israeli occupation forces attacked and injured 100 Palestinians who pariticapted in protests in support of the six Palestinian escapees who tunneled their way out of Gilbou prison.

Most of the cities of the West Bank had peaceful protests in support of the Palestinians prisoners in the occupation prisons. The protests centered in Huwara barrier in the south of Nablus, Beit El in the east of Ramallah, Bethlehem and Al-Khalil.

The occupation forces attacked the protestors in the south of Nablus with gas canisters and sound grenades. As a result, 50 citizens were injured, including three journalists.

They also suppressed a protest held in solidarity with the prisoners in the occupation prisons in the yard of Bab Al-Amoud in occupied Al-Quds, causing the injury of at least three citizens.

They also fired guns and shot gas canisters towards the protestors who participated in a protest held against the brutal policies the occupation practices against the prisoners in Al-Beireh city. In response, the youth threw stones against the forces.

In Tulkarm, Bethelehm and Al-Khalil, hundreds of Palestinian youths also took part in the protests in support of the prisoners.

The tension in the Occupied Palestinan Lands arose after the prisoners in section 6 in Al-Naqab prison broke out in their cells as well as Rimon prison in protest of the repressive procedures the occupation forces tend to commit after the escape of the six prisoners from Giblou prison on Monday.
